Grrr, because they're broadcasting their conference as one long daily stream, I can't get a URL pointing to Leonard's talk until the day is over.

Hearing him talk about how he wanted the user interface to feel like part of the game world... It's stunning that Bethesda 20 years later still hasn't grasped the importance of that.
Actually Bethesda's clumsy attempt to do that resulted in the Pip-Boy menu in their Fallout games, which was terrible. I'd rather they try to make a good UI before trying to stylise it.

Leonard is :love:and much, much more handsome than MCA.
I wonder why he didn't speak about ToEE at all...

That moment when he is showing this. Pure decline:
Are you guys familiar with this scene at all?
[silence]
I guess not...

Troika wanted to make hardcore rpg based on Lord of the Rings, just when the films were coming out? That could've gotten some very nice sales at the time if marketed properly.

So, a brand new IP and not really working with Paradox. I guess that rules out any World of Darkness game? :)

They did an AMA with Feargus, Sawyer, Brennecke and others:
https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/5vzou1/we_are_obsidian_entertainment_purveyors_of_fine/

Can't be arsed to transcript most answers, but Feargus confirms they keep asking Bethesda and Sega to make other Fallout and Alpha Protocol games, but they don't seem interested in collaborating again.

Also, answering another question Feargus leaves in the air that Cain and Boyarsky could be working on a game with the White Wolf IP.

Feargus commented that they would be ready to talk about Project Indiana in 2018.

Anthony Davis confirmed that he isn't working on either Pillars nor Indiana which would mean that Anthony is either working on Tyranny support work, Pathfinder card game (Badler is working on this) or Project Mississippi if such exists.

I believe Anthony is working on pitches for Obsidian's next game. Not a formal signed project yet.

Well, yesterday in the live stream they were asked how many projects they're working on, and they answered 4 or maybe 5.
So, aside from PoE2 and Cain and Boyarsky's game, there are other two or three unannounced titles in the works. One of them could be some additional content for Tyranny or maybe a Pathfinder rpg, after the card game.

Some other things *I think* I heard in the livestream but not mentioned on Codex (and I don't bother browsing the archived video to verify):

- Josh said PoE PnP is classless system. Currently it's based on Dyrwood-y (Vailian?) locations, but he tries to cover as many regions.
- At the moment Josh is only writer of the PnP RPG.
- Chat: Tell us one letter from the title of secret project. / Feargus: I! (Well, Indiana Jones it is!)

1) Pathfinder Card Game - Still people working on this including Badler. PC port coming out this year?
2) Pillars 2
3) Project Indiana with Broyarsky&Cain
4) Project Mississippi???
5) Project Illinois???

They still have people working on Tyranny support, or at least some guy commented on the Twitch stream that he was working on Tyranny support. I believe Feargus commented on this as well that they are in talks with Paradox about Tyranny.

Yes, that is likely as well. After all, unless they stopped working on Armored Warfare earlier than they announced the change of regime it would mean they've moved really fucking fast to sign a project. So if there's 4 or 5 projects that they are working on it comes down to, do they count Tyranny as one since there's still people doing support work for it and whether or not the pitch for Project Mississippi is in such stage that they've actually given it a project name.

One could imagine that they started working on back-up plan for a change of hands on AW the minute MRG told them they would take some of the workload (so sometime last year). Those people are working on something after all. Or how much workforce does pitching a game take?

LinkedIn still shows that they have about 190+ employees, though if you deduct marketing, owners, assistants, PR guys and such they would have about 150-170 people working on games. 50 on Pillars 2, 10 on Pathfinder and that still leaves about 90-110 people to work on Tyranny support, Indiana and what ever else they are cooking.
