A few days ago I said that I'm planning a DLC for the game before I move on to the next project. But I'm giving more thought to this idea, and I'm not sure it would worth the effort. It's not like I'm selling thousands from the game, and the DLC wouldn't bring in a huge ammount of extra money. On the flip side, I'm sure I would enjoy working with a new engine on a new project more than spending 3 months on this game again.

Would be great if you could talk a bit about lessons you've learned about game design and development and will apply to your next project.
I'm running a blog (although I'm quite lazy with it), I will probably talk about this later.

Nice little game - I quite like the music. Impressed if you made that yourself or was it one of those resources that comes with the RPG Maker?
Neither. It is the work of other composers who either made it available for free, or I payed a cheap license for it.

If this thing turns out to be shit and I just wasted 0,89€ of Steam card money on it, I won't refund, but I'll ask my Hungarian colleagues to teach me how to insult your sister/mother/horse/pig/potato or whatever you eastern bloc thirdworldians find offensive.

I think this is the only game I have bought (for myself) in this Steam sale. It is currently in top 150 of my list of games I want to play (that I have already bought).

Hey, I'm sure you missed me in this thread. Guess what, I made a new trailer for my game, which looks and sounds much more serious than the game actually is. Enjoy!

Did you fix all the mispellings and bugs?
Bugs. Yes. Mispellings? No (ok, maybe a few). XD

Hey, J_C, how did the game sell?
Direct sales on all platforms were around 470, plus a lot of bundle fodder sales. For a first game with RPG Maker with stock assets, I think it is decent.
Also, any plans for a sequel/another game?
A sequel is unlikely, especially not with this engine. Another game is already in the works for several months now, it will be a space shoot 'em up. It is not RPG Maker of course.

Since Valve has updated their partnership agreement regarding the confidental data, I can safely share the Steam sales of my game to you. So, as of today I have sold 513 copies on Steam (other platforms are negligible). I had it in 4 different bundles, which moved a lot of copies, but of course I only got a fraction of the price that way. I don't know if it was a good idea putting it in so many bundles, maybe not, but it was a good learning experience.

I don't think I can be too upset about the sales of the game. It was my first game, in RPG Maker, and it had a lot of faults. But as a one man developer, selling more than 500 copies is decent.

513 players and a 1.1% completion rate. So that's uh, what? 5.6~ players?

Keep us updated on your new game bro. Keep fighting the good fight. :salute:

You got it wrong. 513 copies were sold through steam, but more than 20.000 through bundles (but I don't count that because I don't think it is a good way to measure a game's success). So the playerbase was more than 20.000.

Keep us updated on your new game bro. Keep fighting the good fight. :salute:
Thank you. :)

I hope you didn't forget that this is still a thing.
