If you liked dead space you'll like the sequel, I haven't played the 3rd and don't plan on it

I've been mainly doing challenge runs, most are incomplete though since university takes up much of my time but these are what I finished.
  1. Dark Souls SL1
  2. KH2FM Level 1 Critical Mode
  3. Bravely Second LL
  4. Dungeon Rats Hardcore Ironman Solo
  5. Tales of Phantasia Narikiri Dungeon X Unknown Solo
  6. Elona+ Solo/no pets, all fort of chaos bosses, void 200 and catch up to Act 3 content before new update
  7. Stranger of Sword City (No divinity walls postgame clear + no character deaths/switching)
  8. Risk of Rain solo monsoon
  9. Monster Hunter Generations Demo solo multi narga and single narga under 4:30

As for regular runs:
  1. Terraria expert
  2. Grim Dawn pre "balanced for the wimps" Ultimate
  3. Super Meat Boy (A+ all stages but no gold achievement)
  4. Salt and Sanctuary
  5. Borderlands 2 (solo and stopped until OP4)
  6. Adventurer Manager
  7. Diablo 2: MedianXL Ultimative
  8. Tale of Wuxia
  9. Super Hexagon
  10. The Age of Decadence
Alot of osu!mania 4K as well, managed to reached top 25k global. Some Devil Daggers (12 hours of playtime) where I got top 26th in V2 with a measly score of 416.53 seconds.

EDIT: Like the user below me, I also forgot to mention the main game MHG. Beat it along with solo level 10 hellblade 11 min. without a god charm. Also got the Hayabusa Feather. Took 110 hours to beat content from LR to HR.

Most of it it's decline shit

Grim Dawn
Sacred 2 + Ice and Blood add-on (rushed)
Return to Castle Wolfenstein (decade after previous playthrough, vastly different experience and impression)
Torchlight 2
World of Xeen
Anachronox
Far Cry 3
Far Cry 4 (was shorter than previous one so it wasn't that painful)
Brigade E5 - New Jagged Union
Pył (Dust, Pyl, you call it)
Risen 3 with dlcs
Divinity Original Sin EE (started Classic one right after, with Glass Cannon+Lone Wolf solo game but dropped after 15h)
Divine Divinity
Beyond Divinity
Twitcher 3 (once, while I finished previous ones twice, no way to buy DLCs and finish again, nopenopenopenope)
Wasteland 2 DC (first kickstared project supported and last, piece of shit)
Divinity 2 Dragon Knight Saga
Dawn of War 2
Company of Heroes 2
Company of Heroes - Tales of Valor
Lara Croft and Temple of Osiris
Viking Battle for Asgard
Lost Planet 1 and 3

and cherry on the top
Duke Nukem Forever (YUGH)

Some of them might be finished in 2015, don't remember...

I forgot that I also beat Monster Hunter Generations.
Monster Hunter? Though it's some long-ass title that take 200-500h to beat. Hardly to forget...

That design looks familiar.... is that howlongtobeat page with their own Backlog section? Though backloggery should be enough for people but whatever, stopped noting my backlog/finished titles since 2017 (my goal for this year that I already started)...

Are you planning to go through the fan games as well, or just the canon games?

After I finish most of the original titles I probably will. Broken Sword 2.5 is one of the fan games that I would try first, really curious about it. After finishing the whole series and having a bitter aftertaste with the third and the Sokoban like puzzles it would be a great return to the roots of the series. SQ has also a fan game, so I'm sure I'll pick it up some day.

I had same thing up to 3 years back, could count finished titles on one hand. Well, no pressure here... must organize yerself and start backlog blogging or something like that, and deal with that huge Steam library backlog at once!
I'll start tommorow...

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
SQ has also a fan game, so I'm sure I'll pick it up some day.

Space Quest actually has 4 fan games, plus one fan-made remake. Do play the remake, but the only fan game I'd recommend is the last one (Space Quest: Incinerations) as it wraps up most of the SQ plot threads left dangling.

Shooting up your ride
I regularly play or did play a whole bunch of games that don't have a definitive "ending" (like various co-op strats/shooters with friends), so I guess I can't count those. Of the remainder:

Bulletstorm (again)
Dark Souls: PtDE (again)
Dying Light (again; co-op)
Factorio (having a massive factory that can constantly launch rockets every 15 minutes or so probably counts)
Limbo
MGSV:TPP
Portal (practically a yearly thing)
Shadow Warrior (the 2013 version)
Spec Ops: The Line (again)
Wolfenstein: The New Order (again)
XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Looks like 2016 was mostly a year of shooting people in the face, but I should be starting off this year by finishing off VtM:B (again) and Dragon's Dogma, so there's that.

Avadon 1
Age of Wonders 2
Age of Wonders 2: Shadow Magic (or was that last year?)
Nox

Possibly some others, not sure.

Well, why not, a lot of short games, I think I didn't forget too many things :

Wasteland (never played before, it's awesome)
Dragon Wars (truly the best RPG I've played recently)
Void Pyramid (very fun little free puzzle-RPG, with archetypes which matter, stats and alternative solutions)
Epikos (finally not really an Ultima clone despite the art, but still fun with fun combat and a story with cool moments and funny parts)
Ancient Legends (short Apple II RPG, it's fun but it's short and it's more of a preview to show their engine, Lawless Legends is their real game to come and I'm very enthousiastic about it)
Escape from Hell
Lurking RPG
(bad combat but fun big journey with big scale puzzles and many secrets)
Perihelion : The prophecy (truly a mini gold-box game, the UI is a little shit but it's still fun)
Swords & Sorcery - Underworld (short blobber, you must play it)
Quest for Glory 1,2,3
Natuk

The Krynn trilogy
The treasure of the Winter isle (not particularly interesting 20 minute RPG)

Labyrinth of Touhou (the best game with over-retarded art I've never played, also easily the best boss battles in any blobber if not in any RPG at all)
Ni No Kuni
Final Fantasy 1
Shadow Brain
(cool NES recently translated cyberpunk first-person single-character turn-based crawler)
Out Live (this one sucks)

Momodora 1,2,3 (cool 2d plateformers with combat, 1&2 are free, 1 is linear, 2 is more like metroid, 3 is linear again)
Hyper Light Drifter
INFESTED
(if you have 2 hour to kill you can play this adventure game, it's free and fun with an UI similar to the one in Shadowgate on NES)
Randal's Monday
Shadowgate
(the recent remake, you should play it)
Déjà vu
Rose & Time
(meh)
MechaNika (meh)
Shipwreck (short zelda clone, not particularly interesting, with good music)
Grim Fandango
Gobliiins, Gobliins 2 & Goblins 3
(truly awesome)
Future Wars : Time travellers
GNRBLEX
(if you have 1 hour to kill you can play this adventure game, it's free and fun)
Bad dreams 1->6 (meh, they are barely game anyway)
Uninvited
Ultra Hat Dimension
(a pushing-block puzzle game with some good levels but also a lot of meh ones)
The World of Untitled (meh)
Space Quest 1
Day of the tentacle
Revenge of coconard
(funny text adventure in the same universe than Lupus in Fabula)
Lupus in Fabula (this one is fun, it's an puzzle-plateformer, much more puzzle than plateformer)
Inherit the earth
Samorost 1,2,3
Bickadoodle
(short adventure game, I've played worse ones, it's free)
Tick's Tales (meh)
Machinarium
Quest for Yrolg
(very funny little game)

I've also played a lot of Occult Chronicles, but haven't beaten any scenario on hardest difficulty yet, only then I'll consider it completed.

A Bird Story from the To The Moon peeps.
Hyper Light Drifter.
The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth I guess.
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight.
Doom 1.
Almost Dark Souls 3.

It's not been a gaming year. I've been very busy and my PC broke.
