This stuff appears in a lot of big budget games these days. Long as it has no major impact on the single player I don't really give a shit.

Still. I just can't get over it. Something abstract like mother base coins, is by the publisher considered worth more than the actual game itself. It just baffles me.

Some customers are stupid enough to pay it. I tend to see micro-transactions as a type of intelligence test.

MGSV releases to retail Sept 1st. Except in the DVD-case for the PC version the game is not included. It just has a piece of paper with a steam key inside.

Buy on console > get real physical dvd, install in a few minutes to hdd and play without online bullshit

buy on pc > get a cd with 8mb installer and download 50gb to play via online drm
