Update #54: Fishy Politics, part I

bg2_up54_000.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, I don't really speak Polish.

Polish does not use apostrophes. Just FYI.

bg2_up54_001.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Attack of opportunity, anyone?

I don't think its a harmful spell of any kind.

codex_10.jpg
It's fish magic, so I don't trust it.

bg2_up54_002.jpg

codex_10.jpg
First: yes, it is. Second: you can die trying.

bg2_up54_003.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Shock? Hardly. You should have seen my dreams recently.

bg2_up54_004.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Well, hostilities are sort of my default, so you do have a point.

bg2_up54_005.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Oh yeah, about that. Why does your underwater fish city have breathable air?

bg2_up54_006.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ancient prophecy. Uh huh. And I am The Chosen One(TM), I assume?

bg2_up54_007.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Underdark, you say? Very convenient, in a twisted sort of way.

bg2_up54_008.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Just for the record, it does not really work if you claim you are ruthless and cunning yourself. Someone else has to speak such of you. Especially the 'ruthless' part is a matter of opinion mostly.

bg2_up54_009.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Dwellers? Plural? In that case, well, I don't want to burst your bubble, but...

bg2_up54_010.jpg

codex_10.jpg
These must have been some really peculiar signs.

bg2_up54_011.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, okay.

bg2_up54_012.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Test? What test?

bg2_up54_013.jpg

The Codex is brought in front of the Sahuagin king.

bg2_up54_014.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, you could say I am 'the leader' here.

bg2_up54_015.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Someone has just made it to my death list.

bg2_up54_016.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Maybe it would help if you provided some examples of those 'clearly seen signs'? So far, it's all been pretty vague.

bg2_up54_017.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Well, if one of the signs is that are supposed to be multiple surface dwellers, then she does have a point.

bg2_up54_018.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Fuck, these fish really like to talk. Even Irenicus and his vampy sister were more brief.

bg2_up54_019.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Since I can always hack and slash my way out of here, decide what you want, just hurry up!

bg2_up54_020.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Women.

bg2_up54_021.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I guess this is this 'test' that was mentioned earlier?

tl;dr The Codex is the Chosen One(TM) from an Ancient Prophecy(TM) and is supposed to save the fish city from Impending Doom(TM) after he proves his worth by killing something randomly thrown his way. Your standard Bioware plot, really.

bg2_up54_022.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I somehow knew this would end up in a fight at some point.

bg2_up54_023.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Wow, an ettin. You didn't have anything bigger?

bg2_up54_024.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Nothing personal, bro. Uh, bros?

bg2_up54_025.jpg

codex_10.jpg
The senile idiot king has a point.

bg2_up54_026.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I kind of admire her composure here.

bg2_up54_027.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I bet that's not the last we've seen of her.

bg2_up54_028.jpg

codex_10.jpg
These fish names are unpronounceable, by the way. And that's from someone who knows how to pronounce 'unpronounceable'.

bg2_up54_029.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Wow. The king's attention span is incredible.

Look, who's talking.

bg2_up54_030.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Does she suggest that most of the rebels are female, because otherwise it does not make much sense?

bg2_up54_031.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ha! Owned.

bg2_up54_032.jpg

codex_10.jpg
It's hard to argue with the king's logic.

Yeah, he seems to know the material he's working with.

codex_10.jpg
Yes, exa- HEY!

bg2_up54_033.jpg

codex_10.jpg
No... No, I am quite okay with sorcery, actually.

bg2_up54_034.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ah, okay, cool.

bg2_up54_035.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, the name is very important... Not.

bg2_up54_036.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Seems simple enough...

bg2_up54_037.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, I somehow knew it won't be THAT easy.

tl;dr: The Codex is hired by the mad fish king to kill the rebel fish prince and bring his heart, but the rebels are sealed with magic.

bg2_up54_038.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Fuck, that was one hell lot of fish-talk.

bg2_up54_039.jpg

bg2_up54_040.jpg

bg2_up54_041.jpg

bg2_up54_042.jpg

bg2_up54_043.jpg

bg2_up54_044.jpg

bg2_up54_045.jpg

bg2_up54_046.jpg

This is the blade Saemon Havarian gave us before leaving Tortuga Brynnlaw.

bg2_up54_047.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Well, shit.

bg2_up54_048.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Where does a fish have pockets? I don't think they are wearing any clothes at all...

bg2_up54_049.jpg

In case someone wants to (mostly) skip this place, the rope needed to go to the Underdark can be pick-pocketed from the king.

But now, let's go to the priestess.

codex_10.jpg
Yay, more dialogue...

bg2_up54_050.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I knew it wasn't the last we've seen of her, but I guess she lost her composure in the end.

bg2_up54_051.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, now I can see why you are all worshipping him. Seems to beat the alternative.

bg2_up54_052.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Cool story, bro. I mean, sis.

bg2_up54_053.jpg

codex_10.jpg
So, if your people don't need the tooth, what was the point of sealing the door in the first place?

bg2_up54_054.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I kind of thought the king was a bro. Except when he compared me to a sea crab. For that, he dies.

bg2_up54_055.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ooh, such a naughty rebel princess, uh, priestess.

bg2_up54_056.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Well, at least you admit that your life is in my hands, unlike most people, who should really know better.

bg2_up54_057.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Typical clergy. 'You do what we want, but get paid by someone else.'

bg2_up54_058.jpg

codex_10.jpg
In a better-written game, taking this orb could put me in trouble, but as it is, no problem.

tl;dr: The Codex can get in touch with the rebels and see if they have a better offer than the inbred fish king.

bg2_up54_059.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Are we fucking done with talking now?

For the moment.

codex_10.jpg
I really did not expect fish to be the more talkative people I have ever met.

Yeah, that is kind of...

codex_10.jpg
Don't you dare.

...odd.

bg2_up54_060.jpg

This is the orb we got, in case anybody wanted to see it.

codex_10.jpg
Enough talk! Let's explore the city.

bg2_up54_061.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Seems like this place is a regular war zone.

Well, they did seem to mention some kind of a rebellion in progress.

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, I should probably help a little.

bg2_up54_062.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Shit, they hit hard.

Which side are you helping, by the way?

bg2_up54_063.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Both.

bg2_up54_064.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Rethink shooting at me, if you don't want to end up... dead in the water.

...

codex_10.jpg
You know, because they are f-

I got it.

bg2_up54_066.jpg

codex_10.jpg
And yet, they insist.

bg2_up54_067.jpg

codex_10.jpg
These rebels are rapidly losing my sympathy.

bg2_up54_068.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Fuck yeah! Instant fish chunks!

After a short lunch break, our hero moves towards southern part of the city.

bg2_up54_069.jpg

And is promptly stopped.

Death Count: 220

Loading.

codex_10.jpg
What the fuck was that?

A trap, embarrassingly.

bg2_up54_070.jpg

codex_10.jpg
The problem with traps is that you can't really take vengeance on them.

bg2_up54_071.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Underwater spiders!

I think these are just regular spiders, brought here from Underdark by that drow the Sahuagin mentioned.

codex_10.jpg
You are grossly overestimating how much attention I have paid to all that infodump.

bg2_up54_072.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I like sword spiders. They die fast and give reasonable XP.

bg2_up54_073.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ettercaps, the other hand, are just icky.

bg2_up54_074.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Holy shit, it's the human reaper!

bg2_up54_075.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Wait, I remember now. I have already fought one of these.

You did? I don't remember that...

bg2_up54_076.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Much easier this time!

bg2_up54_077.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I'm not falling for that twice.

bg2_up54_078.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Oh, shit. My annoying-o-meter is OVER NINE THOUSAND!

Yeah, it usually only points to 8999, with you around.

bg2_up54_079.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I really want to kill these guys.

It is really not that bad if you imagine them talking in Gollum's voice.

bg2_up54_080.jpg

codex_10.jpg
How can I imagine them having a different voice from what I am actually hearing?

The fourth wall is soundproof in this regard.

codex_10.jpg
I thought we destroyed it a long time ago.

bg2_up54_081.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I probably can handle the 'nasty nasty nasty'.

Yes, but it is more fun this way.

codex_10.jpg
To whom?

bg2_up54_082.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I thought we had left the Riddletown already.

tl;dr: Five famous people and five iconic items. We have to match each item to its owner.

bg2_up54_083.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Fine. Let's get on with it.

bg2_up54_084.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Whoa! Very funny.

bg2_up54_085.jpg

I think Sir Ian McKellen would make a great Elminster.

codex_10.jpg
Didn't he already play Merlin?

Gandalf.

codex_10.jpg
Whatever.

bg2_up54_086.jpg

codex_10.jpg
You could as well say 'Give it to the only woman here'.

bg2_up54_087.jpg

codex_10.jpg
But is he as old as Yzma?

bg2_up54_088.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I refuse to believe that Piergeiron is a real name.

bg2_up54_089.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Hey, I know you. Shouldn't you be dead?

This is just an illusion.

codex_10.jpg
it should be a dead illusion then.

bg2_up54_090.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I remember taking this from Drizzt's corpse.

bg2_up54_091.jpg

codex_10.jpg
This goes to the woman, so not much possibility for a mistake here.

bg2_up54_092.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Elminster seems old, so this must be his.

bg2_up54_093.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Wasn't Khelben called Blackstaff, or some such?

bg2_up54_094.jpg

codex_10.jpg
By elimination, this must go to the guy with made-up name.

bg2_up54_099.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ha! I am more brilliant than Wile E. Coyote!

bg2_up54_100.jpg

codex_10.jpg
This is not very satisfying.

bg2_up54_101.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I would actually prefer the fight the SpecTRe.

bg2_up54_102.jpg

codex_10.jpg
And I can't even kill the imps, because they disappeared! :x

bg2_up54_103.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Well, loot is loot, I guess.

bg2_up54_104.jpg

codex_10.jpg
The effect duration is rather short, but still quite sweet.

bg2_up54_105.jpg

codex_10.jpg
This one is not bad too.

---

Next time: A little less conversation, a little more action.

codex_10.jpg
Good.

With the emphasis on 'a little'.

codex_10.jpg
Not good.

Where does a fish have pockets? I don't think they are wearing any clothes at all...

Let's put the evidence together

  1. It doesn't say that the pockets are in clothes.
  2. The Codex is standing right behind the King at the time.
I think The Codex needs to wash his hands.

Amusingly, despite what the game suggests, it would seem that the "good" option in the Sahuagin city is to help the king and kill the prince. The sahuagin being an evil race that preys on humans, whatever weakens them (such as a crazy ruler) is for the best.

Or just killing everything, of course.

Th first time I played BG2 was with a good-aligned party, so I tried to avoid fighting Sahuagin except the Prince and his guard so I missed getting the
Cloak of Mirroring.
:negative:
...overpowered item, anyway.

We are fucked, bros. I don't have access to dropbox from work any more (my workaround that circumvented corporate firewall stopped working over the weekend), which means writing and posting updates has become very problematic once again.

I can probably figure out something to make it work AGAIN, but to be honest, this shit is starting to be too much hassle for what it's worth.

You're not going to abandon it after so many years, are you? :(

Besides, what will you do at work from now on? You can only browse GD for a finite amount of time.

Do you work for the gestapo, or something? What kind of a workplace has rules like that???

Just bring the screenshots to work on a pendrive.
Yeah, I know. I'm just frustrated because it was a good day for an update and it is now wasted because of bullshit.

Uploading files to dropbox is 30 seconds so I could do it anytime. Saving them to a USB stick and then retrieving them at work is additional overhead, which I also can not do inconspicuously, as we're not using USB drives at work. I usually could post updates on a low-load day, with other people in the office (as long as everybody worked at their machines). Now I will not be able to do that.

You're not going to abandon it after so many years, are you? :(

Definitely not abandoning, but every time I get another hoop to jump through, the updates take longer to make, meaning there will be less frequent. And they are rare enough as it is.

Do you work for the gestapo, or something?
Much worse. International corporation.

EDIT:
It seems that my workaround still allows me to use photobucket. Back to the roots, I guess.

EDIT2:
I can still use dropbox from my other PC (which connects through my smartphone's portable hotspot), but I will only be able to do that when I'm alone in the office, so very rarely.

Update #55: Fishy Politics, part II - End Dialogue

bg2_up55_000.jpg

codex_10.jpg
My instinct tells me I should quaff a potion of insight here.

bg2_up55_001.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Wow. I just realised how much of a jerk I usually am.

Maybe this incident will allow you to change your ways.

codex_10.jpg
Well now, who said I mind being a jerk?

bg2_up55_002.jpg

codex_10.jpg
A non-hostile beholder! Fascinating...

bg2_up55_003.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Now I am intrigued.

bg2_up55_004.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I'd really like to know...

bg2_up55_005.jpg

Wow, and I thought I had a shitty job.

bg2_up55_006.jpg

codex_10.jpg
So, they are like children who never get any older and cannot grow up.

OH MY GOD.

bg2_up55_007.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Well, I would probably prefer to be eternally condemned to a post-apocalyptic Dubai, killing innocent people. Probably.

bg2_up55_008.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I think I've already asked this one.

Yeah, yeah, sorry.

bg2_up55_009.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Or I can kill you. You know, whatever works.

bg2_up55_010.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Kinda yes, but actually it is a quest item I need, so the dying relative is closer to the truth.

bg2_up55_011.jpg

This is when the potion of insight shows its worth.

bg2_up55_012.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Score!

bg2_up55_013.jpg

codex_10.jpg
And I think we have the tooth.

bg2_up55_014.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, exactly.

bg2_up55_015.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Wait... Beholder council?

tl;dr: The Codex convinced Spectator that he guards the chest, not its contents, and took the contents for himself. Then our hero convinced the beholder that guarding an empty chest is pointless, meaning it could go away, so it did.

bg2_up55_016.jpg

If I recall correctly, you get slightly more XP for reasoning with Spectator than you get for killing him, uhm, it.

bg2_up55_017.jpg

And we have the tooth needed to deal with the rebels issue.

bg2_up55_018.jpg

codex_10.jpg
It would be so much better for all of you if you could just get along. Now, let me prove that now by killing everyone here.

bg2_up55_019.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I'm not dying to a bunch of fish and their sucky summons!

bg2_up55_020.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Suck my stone cock!

bg2_up55_021.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Time for grilled fish!

bg2_up55_022.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Aha! And she dropped a cloak of some sort!

bg2_up55_024.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Looks relatively non-generic.

bg2_up55_025.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Whoa. That is a NICE cloak.

bg2_up55_027.jpg

Moping up.

bg2_up55_028.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, no. If I try to kill all of them, I will spend eternity in this shithole. Let's just sneak right past.

bg2_up55_029.jpg

codex_10.jpg
And what is going on here?

Looks a bit like World of Darkness LARP in progress.

bg2_up55_030.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ssssssuck my ballssssss.

bg2_up55_031.jpg

The Codex takes a tactical five steps back and summons a flesh golem as a meatshield. Unfortunately, sea zombie lord is able to hurt it.

bg2_up55_032.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I think the golem is falling apart. I see stripes of flesh flying everywhere.

Let us use the few seconds advantage it gives us, then.

bg2_up55_033.jpg

Did you actually do anything?

codex_10.jpg
I was... Considering options.

Well, after you have finished doing that, would you kindly kite one of them to yourself.

bg2_up55_034.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Sticking a greatsword into an undead is usually a pretty good way to let it know that it is unwanted.

bg2_up55_035.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I'm not coming down there. You'll have to come to me.

bg2_up55_036.jpg

Stoneskin expiry warning.

codex_10.jpg
Chill, I'm at full HP.

bg2_up55_037.jpg

Thankfully it was not a sea zombie lady, because my sanity would not have survived that.

bg2_up55_038.jpg

codex_10.jpg
And I had to get down here after all. How am I to be considered seriously if I keep backing on my word?

You are The Codex. You will never be considered seriously.

bg2_up55_039.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Fuck you guys.

bg2_up55_040.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Get outta my way, I'm in a bad mood.

When have you ever been in a good mood?

codex_10.jpg
When I burned that temple of Helm down back in... Wait, that was just one of my fantasies.

bg2_up55_041.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I come in peace.

bg2_up55_042.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Apparently I need to improve my fishtongue.

bg2_up55_043.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Chill, scalies, I'm on your side. I have the orb and all.

bg2_up55_044.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Apparently they didn't get the memo.

bg2_up55_046.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yes, I have the fucking orb, dickhead. You couldn't have told your fucking guards 'Oh, and by the way, if a surface dweller with an orb comes, don't shoot him'? What the fuck is wrong with you?

bg2_up55_047.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yeah, yeah, this 'ugly and scale-less' joke got old two conversations ago.

bg2_up55_048.jpg

codex_10.jpg
If it was that simple I could have ripped any heart of one of the dozens of your kind I slaughtered to get here.

bg2_up55_049.jpg

codex_10.jpg
If you are the only female that rebels have in their re-population program, I don't envy you.

bg2_up55_050.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Well, considering I was sent here to kill you, and can still easily do that, is it enough for you?

bg2_up55_051.jpg

codex_10.jpg
These guys really should consider changing into matriarchy. Every ruling male is either stupid or insane. Or both.

bg2_up55_052.jpg

codex_10.jpg
If you try to screw me, I will take your fucking head.

bg2_up55_053.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Just give me the fucking heart.

tl;dr: We have agreed to carry a fake rebel heart to the king and allow the rebels to stage a surprise attack and take over the city.

bg2_up55_054.jpg

Look, combat log has story spoilers!

bg2_up55_055.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Seriously, the stuff I carry around with me. Even George Stobbart didn't have it as bad.

bg2_up55_056.jpg

codex_10.jpg
In case the prince changes his mind about rewarding me, I will pay myself upfront.

bg2_up55_057.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ha!

Let's go back to the king.

bg2_up55_058.jpg

codex_10.jpg
As if I needed additional convincing that the king was EVIL and INSANE.

bg2_up55_059.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I believe that the baron does not like me. And the feeling is very mutual.

Well, you do hate everything.

codex_10.jpg
As much as I try to avoid discrimination in my hatred, 'everything' is going a bit too far.

bg2_up55_060.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Aw, shucks! Busted! Red-handed too!

bg2_up55_061.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Since there are plenty of fishes in the sea, I guess I could use some assistance.

bg2_up55_062.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I hate wasting spells like this.

bg2_up55_063.jpg

codex_10.jpg
DECAPITATION!

bg2_up55_064.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I love killing evil creatures.

Because you don't feel bad about doing that?

codex_10.jpg
No, because my sword gets bonus damage vs. evil.

Oh, right. Only chaotic evil, though.

bg2_up55_065.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Here comes the cavalry... of sorts, I guess.

bg2_up55_066.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Get away, he's mine!

bg2_up55_067.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Yes, I care THIS MUCH about that. Not.

bg2_up55_068.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Damn right I did.

bg2_up55_069.jpg

codex_10.jpg
I can loot the ROYAL TREASURY? FUCK YEAH!

bg2_up55_070.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Sweet, sweet, sweet!

By the way, there is no real good option here, as both the deceased king and his successor are evil, if anyone cares.

codex_10.jpg
I certainly don't.

bg2_up55_071.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Let's first loot the king's corpse, or what's left of it anyway.

bg2_up55_072.jpg

codex_10.jpg
+10 damage? That's awesome!

Yeah, it is one of the nicer weapons in the game, dealing 14-19 damage per hit (not counting strength bonus), and pretty much a no-brainer choice for spear-wielding heroes. Even Carsomyr's 6-17 damage does not hold a candle in terms of raw power, except maybe vs. chaotic evil opponents (in which case the holy sword deals 11-22).

But of course we're not using Carsomyr for damage alone. Its 50% magic resistance bonus is just hard to beat.

bg2_up55_073.jpg

The rope dropped because I reloaded after stealing it in the previous update.

bg2_up55_074.jpg

codex_10.jpg
:bounce:

bg2_up55_075.jpg

codex_10.jpg
What, that's it? three items?

bg2_up55_076.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Wow, a 7th level spell. Yay...

bg2_up55_077.jpg

At least we did not already have it, I guess that's something.

bg2_up55_078.jpg

codex_10.jpg
What.

bg2_up55_079.jpg

codex_10.jpg
Ok, this looks interesting.

bg2_up55_080.jpg

codex_10.jpg
But it's about as useless as the cloak of the sewers. Items with many abilities are still bad, if ALL THE ABILITIES SUCK.

bg2_up55_081.jpg

We used to trade with this priestess before, but she does not like us any more, it seems.

codex_10.jpg
She must be a supporter of the previous administration.

bg2_up55_082.jpg

codex_10.jpg
You should have moved on with the times, fish-babe.

bg2_up55_083.jpg

Area completed!

Knowing the Codex, I'd have though he'd jump at the chance to have the Rod of Lordly Might handy in a quick item slot. :smug:

This is unreadable now that images have been downsized inside spoiler tags. I will have to continue reading The Codex' adventures in spellhold after it is fixed.:salute:

It won't be 'fixed', so just use Ctrl+ to zoom in your browser, or click on images to enlarge them.
Turns out it was some technical problem with the forums. Who knew.

Hmmm I wonder if there is a way to make the image scaling in spoiler tags something that the poster can choose. It should be "on" on default but some LP posters would prefere to turn if off. Somebody brave enough to pester DU about it?

All I can do is remove spoiler tags from the updates, either main ones or situational (conversations, character updates), but I am only willing to make the effort if a bunch of people is bothered by the current status.

I tried clicking them but I think the image then hid other images and had to click it again to make smaller, which caused firefox to scroll down a bit. It's too much of a hassle to do to every image manually.

I don't know if you should bother. Anyone know if this is just another DU's experiment?
