Feminists are the new niggers.

The Codex will mention them in any thread about any thing regardless of relevance.

How I would "fix" BG2:
A few more NPC interjections in dialogue (especially from the more obscure NPCs) - just for flavor, no new outcomes.
Replace all jewelry that sells for less than 100g with just gold rewards. So, the rewards would be the same, just less inventory fiddling with 20g necklaces from kobolds etc.
Bug fixes and improved pathfinding.

That's it. Nothing else.

If I never played BG1 (I mean, last time I played it, I dropped it after 2 hours or so, dunno why), should I get this EE?
Is it worth the money anyway?

If you have to ask whether EE is worth getting after just reading through a bit of this thread, then you're beyond all redemption.

Get BG1 and BG2 from gog.com

Install BG2 fixpack, Baldur's Gate Trilogy, BGT Tweaks, BG2 Tweaks and Widescreen Mod (and then whatever else you might want in terms of mods).

There. You have a strictly superior product.

That Yosharian guy is a deranged sycophant (psychofant?). The rest of the comments are decent though.

Does anybody know whether the new original do not steal party members from BG:EE will be carried over to BG2:EE, with Trent's trademark seamless integration?

If they're going to add dialogue I hope they give Khalid some more dialogue. Didn't hear nearly enough from him in BGII.

I think they're going to add an evil thief npc. Which to be fair BG2 does lack. It's gonna be some epic level fanfic garbage though.

 I predict an evil assasin. Bonus points if he has kewl powers unavailable to the player.

Hey, don't forget that the evil shadowdancer will obviously be emotionally scarred and only the main character can heal her/him through The Power of Love!

Someone actually tried killing Drizzt with Shadowdancer? Sounds pretty easy.

Yup, we don't have enough of gay characters in BG saga.

Wait until they think they need to enhance a more popular series, like Fallout.

I think nowdays beth wants everyone to forget there were fallouts before the 3rd one. Think about it, how can rpg f1 promote sales of fps fX?
