As for gif support I disagree.
The exception would be for gif support to only be given to codexians who have made outstanding contributions to the fields of RPG or to this academy.
Otherwise I wouldn't be surprised for dumbfucks to start to abuse it with avatars like this

Enabling it for a few people (people that do cool LPs come to mind) would be cool I think.

My old avatar kinda looks like ass scaled (heh) like this, but it still rocks so no point in getting a new one.

Is there any chance for proper transparency for avatars like Jaesun's? The white space in the background is annoying.
