Farthest Frontier - town builder from Grim Dawn dev

Released in EA today. Any impressions?

Indie Citizen Sleeper - Narrative RPG set on a space station by the developer of In Other Waters

Played it. Not bad, I like the vibe and aesthetics. Comparisons to DE are pretty misguided, CS doesn't have either the humanity or the sophistication (technical and political) of DE. Kinda fizzles out toward the end.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire + DLC Thread - now with turn-based combat!

Truly, one of the most bizarre choices in video game development history. Super interesting, highly marketable, ties in with the most interesting aspects of the world...

Incline Disco Elysium - The Final Cut - a hardboiled cop show isometric RPG

They're dropping some more Kim jackets today if you feel like spending 400 euros on a bomber.

    Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator

Management/trading game, appears to come from the same aesthetic school as Cruelty Squad. Written by the guy who wrote Hypnospace Outlaw. Haven't given it a go yet, but it looks quite interesting.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire + DLC Thread - now with turn-based combat!

Sawyer looks great, man's almost 50 but if it wasn't for the grey hair he'd pass for 30. What's his secret?

Incline Monster Hunter World - G-rank edition. Now on PC.

The scaling for 2 is only ~1.5x and for 4 less than 2.5x, so proportionally it's a lot less hp per hunter. The carting thing is true tho.

Incline Monster Hunter World - G-rank edition. Now on PC.

Got into this recently, good fun, very addictive, and it feels like there's a million different subsystems you can progress. Gotta say though, the monster HP bloat in Iceborne is a serious turn-off. Basically forces you into multiplayer, when I'd much rather hunt on my own.

Slay the Spire is a pretty cool game

Monster Train is worth checking out. It's less "well balanced" than StS and mostly revolves around building completely broken combos, which has its own charm but also gets old a bit quicker.

Pathfinder Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Pre-DLC Thread [GO TO NEW THREAD]

How bad are the bugs? Some of the steam reviews make it sound completely unfinished. Should I just wait for the enhanced edition?

The Last Spell - city defense tactical RPG with roguelite mechanics - Dwarves of Runenberg DLC coming April 24th

Been playing it a bit, it's quite good. Addictive gameplay loop, very nice presentation, great music, tons of stuff to unlock (it's got a double meta progression system: half based on cheevos, half based on a resource you can choose where to spend). It's turn-based so it's a bit slow but that...

    Griftlands - Klei's sci-fi deck-building roguelite

Tried it out for a few hours, really fucking slow and basic. Maybe some more interesting stuff unlocks later but the pacing is totally off.

Game News Slormancer frenzies up some Early Access

Having played a little more, there's very little of the game implemented at this point: only the first "area" is available, plus some endless "expeditions". Not sure if it's more complex than GD, the itemization thus far is extremely basic +5% damage stuff, no build-defining items of any kind...
