Neal Hallford on The Making of Betrayal at Krondor

nealiios was on the most recent Shane Plays episode which was, in his own words, "a VERY deep dive into the making of Betrayal at Krondor". He also talks about his BAK anniversary events this year, including the BAK Fan Film Challenge. A crazy story in here about how his old boss tried to pull...

Shane Plays - LPs and Interviews

I recently interviewed game designer Bruce Nesmith. About 75% of the episode focuses on his tabletop RPG design work at TSR, but there's also some discussion about TSR's early forway into producing their own computer games (they managed to put 3 out) as well as discussion of his time on the...

    Matt Chat Thread

Matt is very good at getting out of the way, which is a very important interviewing skill. I am the opposite and have to constantly work to let the interviewee breathe.

Guys and gals, let's stop feeding the troll please. What started as a genuine (although immaturely) asked question is obviously snowballing into a full on troll reveal.

    Matt Chat Thread

He's actually a friend of mine, but that aside even before I knew him he had my respect as someone who genuinely loves CRPGS and does really good interviews with devs both old and new. He's also written two books on the subject.
