GOG Summer Sale 2013 Begins

Information - posted by Infinitron on Wed 19 June 2013, 00:35:24

Tags: Baldur's Gate; Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn; D&D; Demon Stone; Dragonshard; GOG; Hasbro; Icewind Dale; Icewind Dale 2; Neverwinter Nights; Neverwinter Nights 2; Planescape: Torment; Runic Games; Temple of Elemental Evil; Torchlight

The 2013 GOG Summer Sale is upon us! Unlike last year's summer sale with its voting thing, this one follows the standard sale model, with a 50% discount on most games and daily sales with deeper discounts on selected titles. Today's daily sale is the ever-popular D&D anthology, consisting of all D&D games available on GOG, which you can get at an 80% discount if you buy all the ones you don't already have. Of course, if you're reading this, you probably do have all of these games already. Still waiting for those SSI games, Hasbro!

I should note that this is the first time some of GOG's newest additions have been on sale. Among the games available at a discount for the first time are Avernum: The Complete Saga and System Shock 2. Unfortunately, the most recently added titles, including the Wizardry games, are not included in this sale. In any case, I wouldn't recommend buying anything until you're sure it won't have a daily sale with a deeper discount later on.

One last thing - the Diablo clone hack and slash dungeon crawling action-RPG Torchlight is available free for the first two days of the sale, so go ahead and grab it.
