Tags: HarbingerAvault has posted a preview of Harbinger, which I'm sure everyone has heard about at this point. It's also due out later this month, but that's a side note. Here's a teaser:
The Vantir are sentient colonies of bacteria, a primal ooze of frightening intelligence. Long ago, the captain of the Harbinger, then merely a simple census vessel, took pity on the fragile creatures, giving them robotic shells to protect them from the elements. With their ingenuity for adaptation, they converted their suits into powerful battle-armor and quickly became the dominant force aboard the Harbinger, turning it into the weapon it is today.
That's a damned interesting beginning, actually. It has that One day, the meak shall inherit the Earth mojo working.
