Minions of Mirth, that wacky MMORPG that gets around our No covering MMOs policy by having a single player, has been updated to version 1.02. Here's a gigantic list of changes:
  • Characters may now gain XP into level 100 for secondary and tertiary classes
  • You now get resist messages including the name of the spell being resisted
  • Fixed issue with mob pets not attacking
  • Server side optimizations to address lag issues
  • Encyclopedia pages are now cached to decrease the time to switch between them
  • Leeching should now regenerate health once again
  • Improved mob spell casting AI
  • Adjusted Funnel Weaver level
  • Dreaded Priests now spawn in Trinst stalker camps
  • Rite of Remedy is now always drops off Dreaded Priests and Outcast Diviners
  • Reduced zoning times and ram usage of single player game
  • Fixed the exclusions on Legs of Light.
  • Fixed a typo in Kadazeer's dialog.
  • Flesh Flies, Coffin Flies, and the “Refined” poison components now stack in groups of 50.
  • Removed difficulty modifier on Tahtald Guard, Monolith.
  • Added Scroll of Transference to the wizard trainer's list of available scrolls.
  • Updated recipe for Ghoul Gout poison.
  • Gnomish monks now drop the monk class armor.
  • Updated the negative stats and exclusions on the Shaman's Primeval Fever, Primeval Ailment, and Primeval Infection spells.
  • Shaman's Healing IX and X can now be purchased from the appropriate Shaman trainer.
  • Removed the Orc Warrior and Flash populator groups from Jakreth Jungle, removed the Quake populator group from the Eastern Wasteland, Monolith is now the sole placeholder for Akath Koh the Indurator in Eastern Wasteland, removed the Warling populator from Hazeroth Keep, removed Dusty Zombie from their populator group in Desert of Mohrum, removed the Arctic Wolf from their populator group on Frostbite Islands. Updated populators to replace the deleted ones.
  • Fixed exclusions and overrides on Galeel's Resolute Shield, Blessed Aura, and Fundamental Shield. The higher level spell(s) override the lower level spell(s).
  • Increased the frequency of spells to drop off Healer of the Hills.
  • Removed Improved Crusading Canter and Improved Glorious Gait from the Paladin's line of spells for redundancy with Legs of Light. Added a new level 70 movement spell, Resplendent Pace, available from the Paladin trainer in Trinst.
  • Part I/Part II of the Paladin Epic can be gained at level 40. Level 50 is a requirement to begin Part III. Made some minor fixes to journal entry text.
  • Updated the skill level for the poison, Cramps VI, to 656.
  • Minor updates to spell messages.
  • Updated level, target, and exclusions on several Shaman buffs that were setup improperly.
  • Fixed the negative stats on the Shaman's resist debuff line of spells.
  • Removed the haste and Halcyon spells exclusions from Mirthful Overture as it is redundant with Halcyon's Interlude which is received at the same level.
  • Increased the chances that each Akath will drop their ring or bracer necessary for the Tempest epic.
  • Removed the Amphibious Blood Sac from the database, it is no longer a poison component. It has been replaced by the Mammoth Blood Sac.
  • Updated item level on the Hadrurian Amulet.
That lag thing was funny in earlier versions. I remember walking around some tall building in the starting location while lagged. When the lag caught up to my client, it popped me about twenty feet outside the building, still way up in the air. I splatted on the ground near a bunch of other n00bz. Great times!
