GameSpy have posted their picks for most promising games of 2005. Among them is the PC version of Obsidian's Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich.

The sequel, Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich, looks like it'll capture even more of that four-color magic. The game starts in the '60s when the entire universe shifts. It seems that back in the '40s the Nazis discovered the power of Energy-X and used it to win World War II. Obviously a time traveler is involved, so it's up to Freedom Force to travel back to the '40s and wrest this new power from the hands of Uncle Adolf's bully boys. In addition to this, a new villain named Entropy shows up and starts poking holes in the fabric of reality. It only gets weirder from there. Giant gorillas, brains preserved in jars, villainous pharaohs, underground mole men -- the gamut of enemies and plot twists is every bit as colorful as Freedom Force themselves.
For the nth time, I want this game.
