Tags: Divine DivinityRPG Vault has posted a little article covering the skill tree of the Way of the Warrior in Divine Divinity. Here's a taste of it:
Shield Expertise (Passive)
Skill description
Become one with your shield and use it not only to defend against attacks but also as a deadly weapon.
In-game stats
Level 1: 5 percent chance that shield bashing is applied. Successful shield bash yields 6+10 damage. Required Clvl: 8
Level 2: 10 percent chance that shield bashing is applied. Successful shield bash yields 18+15 damage. Required Clvl: 14
Level 3: 15 percent chance that shield bashing is applied. Successful shield bash yields 24+20 damage. Required Clvl: 20
Level 4: 20 percent chance that shield bashing is applied. Successful shield bash yields 30+25 damage. Required Clvl: 26
Level 5: 25 percent chance that shield bashing is applied. Successful shield bash yields 36+30 damage. Required Clvl: 32
Remarks
A shield is far more than mere protection for a fighter. An experienced fighter is able to use the shield as a bashing weapon as well, inflicting damage to his opponents. Especially in combination with all kind of one-handed weapons, the shield will improve the wielder's defensive and offensive capabilities.
