There's a tiny, tiny review of Silent Storm at Eden II. The final verdict was 7.5, but there's not too much in the thing that says anything, really, so here's a clip:

SS features some very nicely designed levels and coupled with the destruction system, it makes it all the more delightful when the war takes its toll on the area, causing mass destruction that looks eerily like the real thing. This level of detail means that the environment can be used for cover, helping to keep your troops well hidden on night missions. The game’s designers have used dynamic lighting and shadows lie thickly around, and fires cast warm glows onto walls. I can’t fault the level design, since it’s also capable of going above and below ground, a quick flick of the correct button and you can remove layers or add layers to your view.

Well, it's a short review. There's not much fun to quote.
