Jolt has a review of Sacred for your enjoyment. The game scores a lofty 9 out of 10 from Jolt.

The game has many other nice touches too, like the wildlife, the way villagers run for indoors when fighting breaks out, or the day/night and weather cycles. The quest book is also excellent. The only area where I really have complaints is the graphics. Sacred features nVidia's "The way it's meant to be played" logo – and here's me with an ATI Radeon 9700 series card. I had some problems, such as the unsightly lines that you can see throughout the screenshots. It was also quite slow in built up areas, with things going right down to a total crawl if I used the zoomed out camera mode in the really big settlements. Other than that, the graphics are pretty good even if the font is a bit ugly. What Sacred lacks in detail it makes up for in diversity.

Speaking of bugs, there's that vicious copy protection. Oh, wait, that's a feature.
