Bill Black of Big Fat Kitty and voice director for Neverwinter Nights has an interview over at one of my favorite-est sites, HomeLAN Fed. Here's the usual clippet from the thing followed by the usual *ZING* at BioWare:

HomeLAN - How did you work with both BioWare and the voice actors in the game to get the type of work they needed to do for Neverwinter Nights?

Bill Black - Bioware was wonderful when it came to conveying their vision. We had a great script to start with. This thing was well thought out and well written. That made all the difference. We had the most detailed character examples I can ever remember. Armed with this great script, super examples of what they wanted, an open phone line to them whenever we needed it, we were able to take of everything. I have to praise Doug Stone my director for keeping it moving. I work with him on most all character voice over for games.

BioWare's vision for Neverwinter Nights can best be summed up in two words: Blank stare.
