The Beamdog folks were at GDC this week to promote their Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion, which is less than two weeks away from release. It doesn't seem to have gotten much press, but they did allow GameSpot to post a video of the game's intro cutscene. I'd say it's better done than the BG:EE opening, with narrator Kevin Michael Richardson reprising his role.

After the introduction, there are a few snippets of gameplay, including one scene that features a mysterious "Hooded Man" who sounds suspiciously like David Warner, and another scene that shows a massive battle. Unfortunately, the dramatic effect of these scenes is rather diminished by the tendency of whoever was playing the game to skip through the voiced dialogue before it finishes.

GameSpot also have an additional Siege of Dragonspear video that demonstrates the effects of switching difficulty levels, but that's nothing we haven't seen before.
